I'm Sean Cook

With more than 25 years’ experience in the IT and business technology industry, I like to think that I’m skilled at leading enterprise-wide mission-critical initiatives for large corporations. My leadership abilities and project management skills have helped me in key positions at Lavvi, Atlantic Lottery Corporation, the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and in the IT education sector. 

With a focus on top performers and leveraging the strengths of the team, I’ve recently transitioned from Chief Operating Officer to Vice President of People to support Lavvi’s commitment to team growth. With a unique ability to build bridges between people, demonstrate empathy, foster close relationships with others, and map out strategies to achieve repeatable and consistent team member experiences, I can help put Lavvi in an excellent position to continue elevating its unique culture.

I currently sit on the board of Venn Innovation, New Brunswick’s industry association for the technology and innovation ecosystem.

I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick, a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from Saint Mary’s University and an Applied Information Technology Diploma from the Information Technology Institute. Almost forgot, I also hold an Experience Economy Expert Certification from Pine & Gilmore.
