I'm Roddy Awad

I’ve been in the enterprise business tech world for over 25 years now. Add to those 15 years of experience in the insurance industry in corporate project management, consulting, technology advisory and the delivery of digital tools for the sale and distribution of life insurance. Suffice it to say, I know this platform like the back of my hand, and I’d be happy to take you through a demo.

In my previous consulting capacity, I’ve been proud to directly help insurance companies such as Assumption Life, Medavie Blue Cross, UNI Financial Services, TruStage Life Canada (formerly Assurant Life), Acadia Life, and Blue Cross Life. Many of whom are clients today. 

I have served as a member of several boards, including TechImpact, Venn Innovation and the CHU Dumont Foundation. I have devoted time to Université de Moncton students through the Patrick Albert Mentorship Program and the Dalhousie University Lab2Market program, and I’m a willing angel investor to many local startups. I also love to promote partnerships and shared experiences, including the creation of the Maple Summit event which brings founders and entrepreneurs from around the world together for backcountry snowboarding in BC.
