Insurance Distribution Tech Company Launches Lavvi Brand
New brand marks the next chapter for SaaS company
Online life insurance distribution software company Tech Knowledge Solutions (TKS) has rebranded to Lavvi to mark the next phase of the company’s evolution.
A Moncton-based Software as a Service (SaaS) company, Lavvi has 15 years’ experience in online insurance distribution – a niche product offering in a highly regulated and specialized industry. Led by CEO Roddy Awad, the company has launched its new brand to mark its pivot to a product-led Insurtech organization.
Coinciding with the launch of the new brand, Lavvi is releasing its Advisor Submit application, providing traditional insurance sales teams with modern tools to sell life insurance more effectively. This application complements Lavvi’s existing alternative distribution offering, providing a complete platform to enable leading life insurance companies to sell their products digitally and reach more customers.
“As we focus on growing our Insurtech platform, the time was right to refresh our brand to reflect this next chapter,” said Awad, a Wallace McCain Institute alumnus. “It’s an exciting time in the insurance and technology space in New Brunswick, and we’re thrilled to lead the way with a cutting-edge offering built by industry experts.”
After a year of rapid growth, the company has doubled in size, employing more than 30 people at its Moncton headquarters, with additional team members located across the country. This growth momentum is expected to continue with additional staff being hired in the coming months.
Awad adds, “Our life insurance sales distribution platform really sets us apart. It’s a modular, fully configurable, no-code platform that provides more ways to sell insurance online than any other platform on the market.” Lavvi’s unique platform also meets regulatory compliance in every province – including Quebec, which has especially complex requirements.
Due to the platform’s innovative approach and tangible results, Lavvi has attracted clients from across North America, including renowned national insurance companies like Assurant, Blue Cross, UNI Financial Corp. and Assumption Life.
“Our future is bright, and we want to thank our long-time clients for supporting us through the years. We look forward to further supporting them and growing our platform under our new brand,” comments Awad.
